It’s never too late to learn!
as the saying goes, and it’s true!
I can’t tell you how many times someone’s come up to me after a gig (and even during) and told me they used to sing when they were at school, but never took it further… Work, time, kids and just life, gets in the way... I get that!
With just a few lessons and some regular practice, you’ll be able to sing more in tune, have more control over your vocal range, and create a better sound, giving you the confidence to sing anywhere with anyone.
Here are some of the things people say when they contact me:
‘I don’t think I’m breathing properly’ ‘I need to sing backing vocals for a band I’m in, and can’t sing in tune’ ‘I’m a classically trained singer, but would like to learn how to sing in a Jazz style’‘I want to learn how to sing higher’ ‘I lack confidence when I have to perform in front of other people’ I’ve always wanted to sing, but never had the courage’ ‘I want to learn how to sing in my mixed voice’ ‘I want to create more resonance when I sing and speak’ ‘I sing in my chest voice. How do I sing using my head voice’ ‘It feels tight when I sing and sometimes speak’ ‘I’d like a better singing technique to help me not feel like I’m pushing and using effort’
For the past 10 years I’ve had the pleasure to teach vocal and performance techniques to students from all over the world, helping them to achieve their goals whether it be their first public performance, improving their range, how to ‘belt’, or preparing for ‘X Factor’ auditions.
